Chapter 8 [pages 134-139]: 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
Chapter 9 [pages 153-157]: 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10

Possible essay questions:

For any of these three observed correlations, do you see a reason why there should be a correlation? Or are they all just accidents?
Comment on the method of finding correlations on this website. (A link at the bottom of the page gives more details.) Do you see a way it might be improved? (We will discuss surveys in more detail later in the course.)
