SOME HINTS FOR DOWNLOADING
Version of 9/17/2003
Lectures in PowerPoint are placed in the download subdirectory and may be downloaded individually.
When they are ready for downloading, a link from a class webpage is also
established. However, each lecture can be later modified in order to reduce the
number of errors or clarify exposition.
You should occasionally check the modification
dates of files in the download subdirectory and, if needed, download the newest version of each lecture.
If you cannot see correct symbols in some slides,
you should download and install TexPoint in your computer.
Some lectures may contain external links. That is
why some auxiliary files are placed in the download directory. If you want to follow these links make sure
you download all auxiliary files and place them in the same directory with the
downloaded PowerPoint lectures.
Mac users may download the lectures in McGregory
201E, then run them under windows, save them as webpages and view them on their
Mac computers.
