We stayed on the second floor of the Quiet Home (Hogar Quietud, literally "quiet hearth"), a home for senior citizens who had no family:

The courtyard was to our right as we came in, and it was also the view from the dining room:

Most stayed in dormitory-style rooms, but a few got something more private:

... that gave us a view of the grounds (including the pen of ducks and geese in the front yard) and nearby homes:








Breakfast included "Little Sugars" (the U.S. equivalent cereal is pretty clear):
