Pictures from our mission trip, under the auspices of the United Methodist Church's Volunteers in Mission, to Río Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, March 5-12, 2005. Our group consisted of people from many different Christian denominations; the core came from St. James Episcopal Church in Oneonta, NY. (All the pictures on these pages are links to larger versions of themselves -- though they may not look larger in your browser, they are large enough to be saved to your computer and printed.)

Then we went to Nuevo Progreso, on the US border, for shopping. Besides lots of shops for tourists, there are pharmacies and dentists galore, because such services are cheaper in Mexico.
